On 29 August, the Kiwi Kit Community Trust had a wonderful time setting up a stall at Bunnings for their Family Night in celebration of Father’s Day. The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect face-to-face with the Queenstown community.
We organised some fun games for the kids, ensuring that there was plenty of entertainment for families attending. The atmosphere was vibrant, with various activities including kid DIY projects, face painting, and engaging displays from outside suppliers and other community groups. And, of course, no Bunnings event would be complete without their famous BBQ serving up free sausages!
A big thank you to Denise, the activities organiser at Bunnings Queenstown, for inviting us to be part of this special event. It was a great chance to share information about our services and connect with local families in a fun, relaxed setting. Also a huge shout out to our 2 volunteers Sulu and Ula for helping us out at the stall and keeping the families entertained.
We look forward to more opportunities to engage with our community and celebrate special occasions together!
