** SKILLED WORKING BEE **

On 15 May, our next Community Garden working bee is going to be a unique one, with *requirement for skilled helpers* this time around. 🛠️

Our next jobs in the community garden plot will be:

- mending the plastic greenhouse walls,

- framing a door for the greenhouse,

- putting together a donated flat-pack garden shed,

- creating a shed floor from pallets,

- and leveling the ground for the shed to be installed.

If you or someone you know have the tools and the know-how to do any of the above, we would love your help!

But it’s important to know we’ve got the right people, so if you or someone you know is interested, please email laura@thekiwikitcommunity.org to let us know that you’re planning to come!

The next Community Garden Working Bee is scheduled for Wednesday, 15 May from 2pm to 5pm. But, if we don’t have the right people for these jobs, we may need to postpone this working bee until we can find the right people to help.

Curious about some of our other Community Garden working bees? We still want to hear from you!

Come together with fellow garden & nature enthusiasts to roll up your sleeves and dig into the earth as we kick-start our community garden project and work together to cultivate a thriving garden. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a novice with a green thumb, everyone is welcome and encouraged to join!

We'll provide all the necessary tools, soil, and seeds. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and/or share your gardening knowledge with others.

Join us at the Queenstown Harvest Community Gardens on Gorge Road for a few hours filled with fun, learning, and growing. Let's sow the seeds of friendship and community together, while nurturing our green spaces and growing healthy food!

If you're interested, please complete our Registration form, and we will add you to our Community Garden mailing list where we will send out regular communications around ongoing working bee events throughout the year.
