Purpose: Be with and listen to the migrant community in order to start a conversation with local agencies and stakeholders to better understand and respond to current needs.

Values Matched: Build a sense of belonging by sharing our varied experiences. Take care of people by promoting empathy. Empowering individuals of the community to be active members in creating solutions.

Action plan: Host an open conversation to provide a space for really hearing each other while sharing *free* & delicious food from around the world.

Seeds For Belonging - Community Garden (Program Proposal)
Cultivating Community and Yummy Food!
GOAL: To inspire the community to grow healthy food together by reconnecting with nature through gardening.

Project Name: Seeds For Belonging Queenstown

Purpose: Create a space to connect with others and nature, through gardening.

Values Matched: Build a sense of belonging by reconnecting people and the land. Taking care of nature by growing organic food. Empowering members of the community to grow their own produce in the place they chose to live in.

Action plan: Hold an allotment in the Community Garden in Queenstown, which is open to the migrant community to co-work, learn, and grow food together.
